Spring Break Camp
March 8-12 and March 15-19
We are planning to hold two spring break camps. Each will be
full day camps, see below on what to expect for full day camp. The
cost is $400 per camper.

We are going to offer a variety of camps this year. We will have several more camps but some will be devoted to advanced riders, some will be half day camps for those that might not want to be here all day, and then the regular all-day camp. Advanced camps will involve more advanced riding and having guest speakers such as a veterinarian, farrier, horse massage therapist, professional trainer, trick riding demonstration, barrel racing demonstration and more.
We are also considering adding an advanced half camp/clnic for adults who want 3 solid days of working with their horse on any problem issues as well as enhancing their knowledge and horsemanship skills
If a camp does not fill up, then we will combine it with another camp. Please let us know your first and second choice for dates.
Camp Dates are as follows:
May 31-June 4 Full day ($400 )
June 7-11 Advanced riders only ($500)
June 14-16 half camp ($300)
June 21-25 Full day ($400)
June 28-30 advanced ($500)
July 5-9 Full camp ($400)
July 12-16 Advanced ($400)
July 19-21 half camp ($300)
Regular and Advanced camps run Monday through Friday from 9am to 4 pm.
Snacks will be provided, but all students must bring lunch and water.
Additional Camp Info:
Please bring the following items to camp:
Helmet/gloves and show up in riding gear
Water thermos (We can refill water bottles)
Change of clothes (tee shirt and shorts to go home in)
Please have your child in riding clothes when they arrive to camp and have them apply sun screen before they arrive. This helps us get on the horses faster when it’s still nice and cool.
Please also provide us with an emergency contact number before dropping off to camp. This can be sent to Sara.
If your child has asthma and needs an inhaler please send it to camp. Also, please make us aware of any allergies your child has and send a epipen to camp if your child has one prescribed. We are dedicated to having a safe and fun camp.
We have a small mini fridge and microwave available for your child’s convenience at lunch time.
On Friday the campers will be competing against each other in a horse show. Parents are welcome to attend. Feel free to reach out to Jessica and she will give you an estimate of the time your child will be competing.
Camp runs from 9:00 AM and pick up is 4:00 PM sharp.

We will be taking pictures throughout the camp and posting them on the Gypsy Farms Facebook page as well as Instagram. All pictures will be searchable with #GypsyFarmssummercamp and #Gypsyfarms
We are so excited that y’all decided to join us for camp!! We are looking forward to tons of fun!
What to Expect at Camp:
We ride first thing in the morning when it is the coolest part of the day. The children will be divided into two groups according to their riding ability.
One group will have a 1 hour mounted lesson while the other group has an instructed ground lesson. The lessons are tailored to the children’s current knowledge and skills.
After both groups have ridden the horses, horses will be untacked and washed down to cool off. The children will do most of the tacking and untacking with help from volunteers/instructors when needed. After that we take a one hour lunch to let the kids cool off. We normally watch horse movies during this time or play on the trampoline.
After lunch we do our bareback ride. This is normally games on horseback and the kids have a lot of fun while also improving their balance and horsemanship skills. This is a shorter ride (around 30 minutes due to the heat) afterwards horses are hosed down again. Once horses are cared for we do a group learning activity. Examples are lounging a horse, counting distances between jumps, learning how to assemble bridles, and polo wrapping. Afterwards if we have time we may do an art project. At the end of the day the children are given a snack and they cool off in the kiddie pool. Then we have them change into dry clothes so they are ready to pick up and play games until your arrival.
2021 Halloween Party
2021 Holiday Party:
-Chili cook off for the adults. Entry is $25 and cash prizes based on number of entries
-Horse costume contest. Entry is $25 prizes for 1st, second and third place.
-Ugly sweater contest. Entry is $5

Please carpool or consider being dropped off due to limited parking.

3) 2021 Winter Camp:
We are pleased to offer winter camp this year. Please get your name on the list asap because these spots fill up fast!
Cost: $400 per camper
Deposit is $150, balance is due at drop off of day 1.

Any required medications (please hand to Jessica Upon arrival)
Campers can bring personal electronics if desired. Gypsy Farms is not responsible for them if damaged, lost, or stolen.

The recommended donation depends on the size of the party (how many horses and how many volunteer instructors).
$220 donation for 1-4 participants
15-20 minute grooming and tacking session

20-30 minute grooming and tacking session
1 hour of pony rides with 2 horses
45 minutes for cake and gifts
$380 donation for 9-12 participants
20-30 minute rooming and tacking session
1 hour of pony rides with 3 horses
45 minutes for cake and gifts
$5 per person for horseshoe crafts ($20 minimum)- (you can supply your own crafts)
$20 for horse decorating/horse finger painting
$20 for trick riding, barrel racing or jumping demonstration
