Trail Rides: At this time I do not offer trail rides, however, if you have completed a lesson and have demonstrated the ability to do a trail ride, you can opt to hit the trails in place of a lesson. If you want your child or significant other to join you on the trails, they will need to take a lesson first and demonstrate the ability to control the horse outside of the arena.

If you are looking for group trail rides, please contact Sunnye at Canyon Lake Trail Rides or 830-837-9959

Lessons: All students/riders will start with a private lesson in order to be evaluated. Our Group lessons consist of only two riders at a time, as we are very small and operate on a part-time basis. We only have a total of three horses. To learn more about our horses, click here.

Date Night Riding Lesson for 2

Are you looking for a romantic evening together where you get to try something new together?

With our date night lesson package you and that special person will arrive to two already saddled horses, you will be led down to the arena and given enough instruction to be comfortable riding on your own, then you will be given some privacy to enjoy the rest of the hour on horseback in the arena. Afterwards, we will put the horses away and you be led to a picnic table where sparkling cider (or bring your own beverage) and two glasses will await you.

We have a beautiful view of the sunset from the arena and are happy to accommodate sunset requests.

All-inclusive package: $150

Lesson Pricing

All lessons are donation based, the recommended donation is $40.00 per person. This money goes towards our volunteers who teach lessons, feeding and caring for our horses, and back to horse rescue expenses either through donations or time.
